This island is part of Venezula. Its a very poor island and there is NOTHING at the port. You are forced to take a taxi into the city or to a beach. We ended up taking a day long tour of the island and it turned out to be a great decision. We visited several beaches, and look out points. The tour ended with some shopping in the main city on the island. The city was actually quite scary and we got harassed by many of the local kids who would curse you out if you did not give them money.
