After the conference was over, there was no incentive to sleep in a location close to where the conference was held... as such, I changed hotels to one that was significantly cheaper. The downside of switching was a much smaller room, no shower, and a whole lot of noise from the train that ran right out my window. Since it was only 1 and 1/2 nights... it was worth it. :)
