Off Elephanta Island, back in Mumbai - #1

We were all releived to have survived the aggressive monkeys, peddlers, and tour guides of Elaphanta Island. We were further relieved to have made it both there and back in a boat with no life preservers! The rest of the day was spent being shown Bombay by the home-towner himself and his family. If you zoom in on the picture with the McDonalds add, you can see it is printed in Romanized Hindi, which was common in the larger cities but unheard of in rural areas.
